ABOUT THE MOUSE-FREE MARION PROJECT
At nearly 30 000 hectares, Marion will be substantially larger than all previous rodent eradication efforts undertaken in a single operation. The project was initiated as a partnership between the South African Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment and BirdLife South Africa. A separate and special purpose entity, the Mouse-Free Marion Non-Profit Company, has been established by BirdLife South Africa to help implement the project.
Once completed, Marion Island will be the largest island from which mice have successfully been eradicated. Be a part of history, donate towards this project to preserve this beautiful oceanic gem. – Read More About The Project Here
